Tools of the Trade “Cold Bed,” Music Video Shoot

Vivian, myself, Rafael De Assis Alves, and Jaime Echagüe, the core musicians involved in the Cold Bed album all met at Triskel Tavern in Madrid to shoot the video for Cold Bed. The group is global: Rafa is from Brazil, Jaime from Madrid, Vivian from Chicago, myself from Berkeley, and John is from England. We shot at Triskel because it was the place where all us musicians met at the bar’s infamous Thursday night open mic sessions. The piece is directed by John Reck and features shots of Madrid’s Retiro park and interior scenes at Triskel. Below are some shots from the day:
