Yesterday I moved back to Madrid. August in León was a great break from the grind in Madrid and a different Spanish reality. In León I took a few pictures and this post represents that. Barcelona: From Romans to B-Boys
Barcelona. November 20th, 2011. Roman wall next to the Catedral de Barcelona. A group of young men are breakdancing in the square in front of the church. Next to the church is a Roman wall that dates from the first few centuries AD. Time flies and it is remarkable how much culture has passed through this spot.
I also wanted to take a picture from the perspective of the spectators. I think public street performance is framed by the populace enjoying the show. Perhaps this second picture invokes a more complete idea of what the scene was: A combination of public performance and audience.
